I am a 40 year old single mother. I work hard and love my children more than anything other things in the world. I have been struggling for the last 7 years to get myself off of welfare. I finally have come to that point and now what I really need to do is to get out of low-income housing. My goal right now is to buy a home for my child and myself. I am very handy and can take great care of the home I buy.

My son really wants a pet (dog) and we have lived in an apartment for 7 years and he hasn't been able to have one. He wants a place that he can call home because the apartment we live in is very strict on what we can do. He wants to paint his room and do what ever he wants to it. It will be his own space in the world where he can have his privacy and not have to worry about getting in trouble for hanging a poster on the wall. He also wants a place where he can put his motorcycle his father got for him so it doesn't get taken.

I want a place I can call my own, where I can decorate, take care of a yard, and feel I am not just giving my money away for something I will never own. I would like to have a flower bed, garden, and especially my own parking spot. I have worked to hard to get where I am at today. I have a job I love with all the benefits. I just would like to have a house and some privicy.
